Buckingham Palace issued a major update on Princess Anne as she marked a significant day on behalf of his brother, King Charles.

The royal family's spokesperson shared that the Princess Royal commemorated Canada Day in Bramshott and Liphook on July 1, the same day on which the late People's Princess was born.

King Charles' office released a series of photos from the event with a message that reads, "The Princess Royal joined schoolchildren and veterans at events to mark Canada Day in Bramshott and Liphook."

"During the First World War, Bramshott was one of the largest Canadian military camps in the UK."

"Since 1942, the village has hosted an annual Canada Day service, which has helped to develop lasting bonds between the village and Canada."

After taking part in a service at St Mary’s Church, Zara Tindall's mother paid a visit to Liphook CofE Junior School, where "pupils presented the story of Canadian servicemen in a special drama performance."

It is important to note that Diana's firstborn, Prince William, also stepped out on his mom's special day to carry on her legacy.

The Prince of Wales visited Sheffield to mark the second anniversary of Homewards, his passion project aiming to end homelessness in the UK.
