Glen Powell addresses 'major' rumour about him in 'SNL' monologue

Glen Powell, who shared the screen with Sydney Sweeney in Anyone But You, took the opportunity to address a major rumour going on for years.

The 37-year-old admitted being a host at SNL has been one of his biggest dreams in life, which came true on November 15.

The Top Gun: Maverick star recalled a hilarious story from nearly four years ago when he was invited to host the show while being with his family.

Being over the moon, he and his family made a UPS rider part of their celebration who was delivering a “package at that exact same moment.”

To “mark the occasion,” the entire clan and the delivery guy took a selfie but then Glen’s dream was crushed as the film starring Tom Cruise “got delayed due to Covid” and SNL “took their offer back.”

For four years, the worker went to places, painting the Hollywood actor as a “liar.” 

However, her sisters “tracked” down this person named Mish and was invited to attend the special episode of Glen.

The Running Man star “flew him all the way to New York” to prove he is not a liar. The audience went wild as the camera panned towards Mish. The two then recreated the iconic moment with a selfie on the SNL stage.
