Anna Hathaway science-fiction film The End of Oak Street reason for multiple delays has finally come to light.

The project which was previously called Flowervale Street, is directed by David Robert Mitchell.

Hathaway stars as Denise, alongside Ewan McGregor as her husband Greg, with Christian Convery and Maisy Stella playing their children.

According to the reports by Screen Rant, post-production began in 2024 and it was supposed get released by 2025. 

However, the head of the film production house departed to Netflix that year and was never replaced, leaving leadership gap during a critical period.

Another major obstacle arose when the production required additional photography involving Hathaway and other cast members.

The Devil Wears Prada star was unavailable due to her filming schedule and commitment to Christopher Nolan’s upcoming project The Odyssey.

The issues contributed to the film being delayed first to March 13, 2026, and then to August 14, 2026.

The story follows a suburban family whose neighbourhood is mysteriously transported to an unknown location, where they find dinosaurs.
