Halle Bailey and Regé-Jean Page opened up about their experience filming upcoming Italian rom-com, You, Me & Tuscany.

The film follows chef Anna (Bailey), who travels to Italy after a whirlwind encounter with Matteo (Lorenzo de Moor).

Expecting an abandoned villa in Tuscany, she faces chaos when his family arrives and she must pretend to be engaged. Complications arises when she meets Matteo’s cousin, Michael (Page), sparking an undeniable connection.

Bailey and Page shared the experience during Q&A at the screening in New York City.

In conversation with the People magazine, Bailey said, “It didn’t feel real, honestly, and it was so nice just to be there.”

Talking about the picturesque location, The Little Mermaid star added, “When we got to Tuscany, especially, it felt like we were stepping into dream, like painting.”

Calling herself a “nature girlie,” the actress enjoyed hikes, hot springs, and quality time with her two-year-old son Halo during downtime.

On the other hand, the Bridgerton star highlighted the immersive food culture, saying, “You're gonna have to drink really good wine. You're gonna have to eat really good food. Learn to make really good food."

Praising his co-star, the British-Zimbabwean actor continued, “Halle Bailey, by the way, is very humble, so she might tell you stuff like she can make cacio e pepe from scratch now.”

He hopes that fans and viewers leave feeling “passionate about food” and reminded that rom-coms matter because “every single person is in some way interested in love and loving and being loved.”

You, Me and Tuscany is now running in theatres.
