Saturday Night Live U.K. has taken a page out of its predecessor’s book and created their own version of Melania to poke fun at after the First Lady’s surprising statement about Jeffrey Epstein.
The sketch began with cast members Jack Shep, Al Nash and Annabel Marlow playing a game of Never Have I Ever.
The game starts of light but then the 24-year-old said, ““Never have I ever accidentally booked a Neo-Nazi to headline a music festival for three nights without a backup plan!”
Marlow was referring to the fact Kanye West was chosen to headline the Wireless Festival this year, which was then entirely canceled due to backlash.
Suddenly, Melania, played by Emma Sidi then comes out of a bush to add, “Never have I ever been friends with Jeffrey Epstein!”
When Nash asked her what she was doing in Croydon to which she replied that she was there to put an end to rumours surrounding her.
The faux First Lady then suggested they play a new game, truth or dare, in which she denies being friends with the deceased sex offender’s alleged accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell.
“Why do you keep bringing up all the Epstein stuff?” Marlow asked her while Shep added,“Yeah like, your husband literally started a war to distract us all from it.”
Notably, the skit is referring to the seemingly out-of-the-blue statement that Melania made earlier this week denouncing any links to Epstein.
