Sydney Bernice Sweeney is an American Actress born in Washington to Lisa and Steve Sweeney. Sydney has gained recognition for her roles in shows like Euphoria, The White Lotus and for starring in urban based rom-coms. 

 

Sydney began acting after relocating to Los Angeles at the age of 13. She guest starred in shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Pretty Little Liars, Criminal Minds and 90210. She then appeared in 2018 Netflix series Everything Sucks! And HBO’s Sharp Objects. Later she was casted in Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood alongside big names like Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie etc. Sydney got her big breakthrough with HBO’s Euphoria in which she played the role of Cassie. She also starred in hit show The White Lotus. Sydney also got recognition for her role in the romcom Anyone but You with co-star Glenn Powell as the two quickly became fan-favourite couple.

 

Sydney had been dating businessman Jonathan Davino from 2018 to 22 when they got engaged. The couple was set to tie the knot in May 2025 however, the two called off the engagement. The actress is often linked to her co-star Glenn Powell.
