Sydney Sweeney finally responds to the cast feud speculations surrounding Euphoria’s lengthy delay.

The American actress speaks up for the first time after rumours about cast schedules or behind-the-scenes drama led to the delay of the drama in an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair.

After the HBO series concluded its final season, Sydney hits back at the narrative circulating on news outlets and social media.

“We all grew up together on this show, so it’s honestly crazy to watch how much social media and the press spin things,” says the 28-year-old.

The Housemaid actress comments come after years of speculation about what caused the delay between Euphoria’s second and third seasons.

Interestingly, Sydney, who starred as Cassie Howard on HBO drama, rejects the claims cast schedules were “responsible for holding up the show”.

The Anyone But You actress mentions that she was “in first position to HBO and she’s legally not allowed to do anything else”.

“So my schedule doesn’t affect the show and since “all of us were in first position, it wasn’t like any of our schedules were holding it up”.

Meanwhile, Sydney adds that the cast remained close on set despite sharing limited screen time.

“Every single time we were in the trailer, we were like, 'Wait, what are you doing today?’” concludes the actress.
