‘Avengers: Doomsday’ updated synopsis sparks buzz among fans

Avengers: Doomsday new synopsis has fuel concern among fans.

The highly anticipated MCU movie is set to star Robert Downey Jr as the villain Doctor Doom.

Earlier today, a new synopsis for the upcoming Avengers movies was released, which got a mixed reaction from the audience.

As per the synopsis, “Robert Downey Jr, who led the Avengers series as Iron Man, makes a shocking return as the evil scientist Doctor Doom.”

“Familiar members like Steve Rogers and Thor are joined by a new generation of heroes, hinting at the largest assembly in history,” it added.

Fan on X wrote, “Mixing legacy characters with new heroes is exactly what Marvel needs right now.”

Another wrote, “doctor doom as the big bad with rdj in the suit is such a wild swing after all the kang talk they flipped the script completely respect for the balls on this one.”

A third user added, “years of buildup for nothing but a detour moves of desperation.”

In addition to Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Sebastian Stan and Benedict Cumberbatch, and many more are also starring in the film.

Avengers: Doomsday is set to hit theatres on December 18.
