Kate Moss was presented as a party girl by tabloid news, giving few interviews during her long career for a shocking reason.
The 52-year-old explained during one instance that she adopted “never complain, never explain” from her boyfriend Johnny Depp.
However, her biopic movie Moss & Freud revealed the most scandalous aspect of her relationship with British painter Lucian Freud.
It showed the iconic supermodel and Lucian “taking opium together” during the process of painting, which is being considered one the most controversial.
Filmmaker James Lucas confirmed about the project: “Everything you experience is reality,” calling it their “truth.”
He admitted that his “embellishments are merely cinematic flourishes.”
The couple were also shown having fights during the painting process, when her beau ends up being angry at her for being late one evening.
The new film is semi-fictionalised that takes fans back to 2002 when Lucian decided to paint her portrait. Ellie Bamber plays the model, posing naked for the artist.
This resulted in an unlike bond between the two.
The star herself gave a green signal to the project, selecting the female lead, after turning down several requests of documentaries and projects ideas over the years.
It was reported that the Catwalk star spent time with the actress to help her understand her personality accurately.
