Spider-Man: Brand New Day released a poster nearly two months before the Marvel movie hits the theatre on July 31, 2026.

Having Tom Holland and Zendaya as the lead couple of the movie, fans have been extremely excited for the new instalment.

However, the poster was analysed by the online community as many pointed out that the artwork carried vibe of “Spider Man 2 2004.”

One of the Instagram fans was left confused as they asked if the actress “almost look[s] like Kristen Dunst here,” another netizen agreed, noting: “This looks just like Tobey Maguire Spider-Man poster.”

The admirers appreciated the “nostalgic” energy that it carried. The artistic cover is said to be teasing a more emotional storyline with a “mature entry.”

The story revolves around Peter Parker who has been forgotten by the world and is now facing powerful threats that the character has ever faced, according to the synopsis.

Peter is presented with the challenge to form bonds again with those closest to him after Dr. Strange spell. 

The poster puts a spotlight on the actress, indicating her role will be significant to the story.
