Zendaya is an American actress and singer who began her career as a child model and backup singer. She made her debut as Rocky Blue in the Disney channel sitcom titled, Shake It Up.

Her other movie roles include The Greatest Showman (2017), the romantic dramas Malcolm & Marie (2021) and Challengers (2024), as well as the science fiction films Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024).

Zendaya is also renowned for her role in the HBO drama series, Euphoria which is an adaptation to the Israeli series of the same name.

Zendaya ventured into acting through her mom’s work in the theatre.

She also secured her career in dancing after joining a hip-hop dance troupe called Future Shock Oakland and was also affiliated with the Academy of the Hawaiian arts as a Hulu dancer.

After her breakthrough in Disney, the Dune actress starred in a number of movies including Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Greatest Showman, Spider-Man: Far from Home, Spider-Man: No Way Home, and Dune: Part 2, by 2024.

Zendaya is in a serious relationship with the actor Tom Holland, with whom she got romantically involved in the summer of 2017 and is now engaged.
