2026 proved to be an extremely busy year for Zendaya as she took on major roles in Euphoria, Spider-Man 4, Dune: Part III, The Drama and The Odyssey.

After sparking feud rumours with cast and creator, the 29-year-old has finally spoken up about her role in the HBO series.

During her interview with ELLE, the star shared her experience of turning in to Rue. She called it her return in the series “an emotional” one.

According to her, “a lot of life has happened” behind the screen as the story of the highschool children takes bizarre turns individually.

Recalling the time she started out as Rue, the Hollywood A-list star revealed she was “scared,” admitting “a little fear is good.”

Zendaya likes being challenged “artistically” which is exactly what Euphoria did to her. She explained what it’s like to be casted in multiple projects at one.

One night the Shake It Up star learnt lines for Dune, writing out lines to memorise for “Iceland [The Odyssey],” sharing that she has limited dialogues in the movie which stars Tom Holland and Anne Hathaway.

Is Zendaya working with Christopher Nolan?

She stated about being extra careful while working with Christopher Nolan, gushing: “The most embarrassing thing in life would be messing up my line.”

This comes as Euphoria battles several controversies ranging from feud buzz between the cast to bizarre and inappropriate concepts being promoted.
