A handwritten note allegedly penned by Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Nicholas Brendon has come to light in newly filed court documents, offering a stark glimpse into the late actor’s final wishes.
The brief, 11-word statement, written on lined paper and titled My Will, reads, “Sarah gets nothing. Kel gets everything. He can figure it out,” according to filings submitted by his twin brother, Kelton Schultz, who is now seeking to be appointed administrator of the estate.
According to Daily Mail, the note suggests that Brendon intended to leave his assets to his brother while excluding his former partner, Sarah Marker.
The documents do not provide details about the size or nature of Brendon’s estate. Both his parents and other family members are also mentioned in the filing, though no formal breakdown of inheritance has been disclosed.
Moreover, Brendon, who rose to fame for his role as Xander Harris on the long-running supernatural drama Buffy the Vampire Slayer, died in March 2026 at the age of 54.
As per the outlet, his family previously confirmed that he passed away in his sleep from natural causes, noting that he had been managing ongoing health challenges in his later years.
The emergence of the handwritten note has now triggered legal steps within the family, with a probate hearing scheduled for July 16 to determine the handling of his estate.
