Jennifer Lopez recently revealed she would like to start journaling about her life.
The American actress shared that she had a tough year, especially after her painful divorce from Ben Affleck in January 2025.
Earlier in 2025, JLo took time to heal herself from the heartbreak amid her personal growth journey.
The Marry Me star performed a fifth concert tour in six years, Up All Night: Live in 2025, which ran from July 8 to August 12 last year.
Besides her music shows, JLo also kept herself busy with her new movie, Kiss of the Spiderwoman, which was released in October 2025.
In view of going through ups and downs in life, the Maid in Manhattan actress found ‘journaling’ as a great way to let it out.
In a clip shared on Stepping Through Film handle on Instagram, JLo alluded that people had been gifting her journals all the time.
The actress told Thomas Duke, “I am going to do a journal. I am going to start journaling, then I don’t.”
However, JLo admitted she would begin journaling about her life this year.

“I think it’s because I have changed and my understanding of love and relationships have changed,” said the 56-year-old.
JLo pointed out, “I think it’s like these journal entries into your life and you are drawn to certain things at certain times because of who you are and what you are learning and where you are at in your life.”
Back then, the actress explained, “I was just kind of like this hopeless romantic and now there’s this is one of a kind of adult romantic comedy about two workaholics who kind of closed themselves off to the world,” referring to her new Office Romance movie.
“They have to overcome the issues to really experience love again and that’s very different,” she claimed.
