Britain’s beloved royal couple, Prince William and Kate Middleton can’t resist a little friendly competition either.
TV legend Dame Mary Berry has revealed that Prince William and Princess Kate both have a surprisingly “competitive streak", and she’s seen it firsthand.
Speaking to Saga, the former Bake Off star reflected on her friendship with the Prince and Princess of Wales, who helped celebrate her 90th birthday earlier this year.
“I’ve done quite a few things with him and, gosh, he’s competitive. So is Catherine,” Berry said with a laugh.

Even their cousin Mike Tindall once teased Kate on The Good, The Bad & The Rugby podcast, joking, “I’ve seen her play beer pong!”
Berry also fondly recalled filming a Christmas special with the royals in 2019, revealing how much her cookbooks influence their children. “
One of Louis’ first words was ‘Mary,’” Kate shared. “Your face is all over my cookbooks!”
