Princess Beatrice 'in tears' over dad Prince Andrew's fall from grace

Princess Beatrice is said to be “absolutely devastated” following her father Prince Andrew’s latest scandal and growing pressure for him to leave Royal Lodge, according to new reports.

The 65-year-old Duke, who recently relinquished his remaining royal titles and honours amid renewed scrutiny over his ties to Jeffrey Epstein and the posthumous memoir of his accuser Virginia Giuffre, has once again found himself at the centre of controversy.

A royal source told The Mail: “She was on the phone saying she couldn’t bring herself to look at the Sunday papers. She looked absolutely devastated.”

Beatrice, 37, was recently seen looking visibly upset while visiting her father’s Windsor home, where he remains in negotiations with King Charles’s representatives about vacating the property he has occupied since 2003.

Royal expert Ingrid Seward suggested Beatrice and Princess Eugenie could gain “freedom” by renouncing their titles, saying, “It would show they want to make their own way in the world—and people would hugely respect that.”
