Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made an unexpected “appearance” in the second season of Netflix’s hit comedy Nobody Wants This, sparking excitement among fans.
The royal couple were referenced during a heated exchange between sisters Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Morgan, who argue about a romantic encounter.
Joanne fires back: “Am I supposed to believe everything you say? According to you, you could have been Meghan Markle.”
Morgan cheekily replies: “I said I saw Prince Harry at a bar and there was a vibe, okay? And there was a vibe!”
The witty name-drop delighted viewers, and comes amid the Sussexes’ renewed multi-year Netflix partnership, reportedly worth £78 million.
Speaking at Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Summit earlier this month, Meghan confirmed that the couple’s production company, Archewell Productions, has extended its “first-look” deal with the streaming giant.
She said the new arrangement gives them “flexibility” to bring creative projects to Netflix first while exploring other platforms.
