Big changes are ahead for Prince George, who turns 13 next year, and according to a royal insider, his educational path could closely mirror that of his father, Prince William.
The young royal, currently a student at Lambrook School alongside his siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, is expected to move up to Eton College in September 2026.
The prestigious boarding school, just a short distance from Windsor Castle, also counts his father and uncle Prince Harry among its famous alumni.
Former royal butler Grant Harrold, who worked for King Charles between 2004 and 2011, believes George will likely continue on to university after Eton — just as both his parents did.
“I think he’ll go to university,” Harrold told Study Dog. “William enjoyed university, and the children seem to love their education. The real question is whether George will also choose to join the armed forces afterward.”
The future king could even attend St Andrews University, where William and Princess Kate famously met and fell in love.
