Prince William and Princess Kate would “be happy” to welcome Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet back to the UK, according to a former royal aide.
Royal insider Grant Harrold, who worked closely with King Charles between 2004 and 2011, revealed that despite ongoing tensions between Prince Harry and his brother, the Prince and Princess of Wales would show warmth toward their niece and nephew.
Speaking to Study Dog, Harrold said: “William and Catherine wouldn’t treat Meghan and Harry’s children any differently because of what’s happened between their parents.
“If Archie and Lilibet wanted to study or live in the UK, they would probably embrace that - they’d be happy to spend time with them.”
The Sussex children, aged six and four, last visited the UK in 2022, during Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
In a recent interview, Harry hinted that his children could visit the UK soon, saying: “I would. This week has definitely brought that closer.”
The remark came after a brief reunion with King Charles, marking their first face-to-face meeting since February 2024.
