Sarah Ferguson 'breaking down' after Beatrice, Eugenie get dragged into Epstein scandal

Sarah Ferguson is said to be “on the verge of a breakdown” as renewed scrutiny over her connection to Jeffrey Epstein continues to dominate headlines.

The Duchess of York, 66, has faced mounting backlash after resurfaced emails revealed she once referred to Epstein, the late convicted sex offender, as her “supreme friend.”

The email, reportedly written in 2011, came after his release from jail, when he had previously helped settle some of her debts.

Speaking to Woman’s Day, royal expert Phil Dampier revealed: “I’m told she has been on the edge of a nervous breakdown. Her sister Jane has flown in from Australia to support her. Sarah is in a bad way and feels she’s being kicked while she’s down.”

Several charities, including Prevent Breast Cancer and The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation, have since cut ties with Ferguson.

Meanwhile, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly “distressed” as their names were mentioned in a 2011 email by Epstein claiming the family “celebrated” his prison release, a claim sources close to the Yorks strongly deny.
