Controversy surrounding Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s links to Jeffrey Epstein has deepened after newly surfaced emails.
The latest emails reportedly show that the disgraced financier claimed the she celebrated his prison release with her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.
According to The Daily Mail, Epstein wrote in a 2011 email to his lawyer that Sarah “was the first to celebrate my release with her two daughters in tow.”
At the time of Epstein’s release in 2009, Beatrice was 20 and Eugenie 19.
However, sources close to the York family have strongly denied that any such meeting took place, insisting the princesses never met Epstein.
The emails also suggest Sarah, now 66, requested financial help from Epstein for her charities and personal debts, with reports alleging she asked for up to $100,000.
This comes after a 2011 email surfaced last month in which Sarah called Epstein a “supreme friend” and apologized for publicly distancing herself from him.
