Sarah Ferguson accused of receiving support from Jeffrey Epstein

Prince Andrew's ex-wife Sarah Ferguson has faced new challenges ahead after shocking revelation about her alleged friendship with Jeffrey Epstein.

Royal author Andrew Lownie, 62, whose newly-published biography Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York has rocked the Yorks, claiming Epstein's financial support for Fergie was far more extensive than previously reported, according to Radar Online.

Speaking on Tina Brown's Substack, Fresh Hell, he claimed both Sarah and her former husband Prince Andrew continued to benefit from their links with Epstein even after Andrew's 2010 visit to New York, which he insisted was to end the friendship.

A royal insider allegedly told the author Jeffrey settled more than just a few small debts for Ferguson – he covered significant expenses for Sarah over the years and their relationship was far closer than anyone has really admitted.

Lownie claimed Epstein saw Andrew as a conduit to prestige and influence.

He claimed: "For Epstein, Andrew offered status, respectability and access. He pushed him into meetings on official trips. For Andrew, Epstein provided introductions, a jet-set lifestyle – and crucially, help with Sarah's mounting bills."

What did Ghislaine Maxwell say about Sarah Ferguson?

Ghislaine Maxwell, a socialite who was convicted in 2021 of helping lure teenage girls to be abused by Jeffrey Epstein, denied having introduced Prince Andrew to the alleged paedophile friend, and described Sarah Ferguson as a "frenemy".

Maxwell reportedly told US Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche: "First of all, let's just state, I did not introduce him to Prince Andrew or to Sarah Ferguson. That is a flat untruth. I’ll start with that."

Maxwell alleged that Fergie "tried to put the moves" on Jeffery.
