Kate Middleton recently stepped out with a new hair colour during the royal family's annual Balmoral gateway.

On August 24, the Princess of Wales was photographed sitting in a passenger seat, Prince William drove her and their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, to Crathie Kirk.

The Wales family was also joined by King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Sir Timothy Laurence, Prince Edward and Duchess Sophie, for church service in Scotland.

The detail which grabbed the attention of fans was Catherine's blond hair, the lightest hair colour she chose to date.

Speaking of the new look, British psychologist Carolyn Mair shared that the Princess of Wales said goodbye to her ill days with this beautiful transformation.

In conversation with Fox News, she said, "Hair is our crowning glory and a symbol of health and femininity."

The medical expert believes that the mother-of-three might be "embracing" a fresh start by opting for a lighter outlook on life after challenging health issues.

For the unversed, Princess Kate announced her cancer diagnosis in March 2024. She underwent preventative chemotherapy.

Miss Carolyn shed light on the effects of cancer treatment. She said, "I don’t know if Princess Kate lost her hair during her treatment, but if she did, she might want to colour it blonde as a means of drawing attention to it."

The future Queen is "reclaiming" power and strength as she leaves "illness" behind.
