Dua Lipa got emotional while talking about LGBTQ+ youth issues and even urged fans to be supportive

On Tuesday, after recieving an accolade from Mark Ronson at the 2020 Attitude Awards, Dua Lipa broke down in tears while talking about all of the mental health issues LGBTQ+ youth are currently struggling with during the pandemic.

On the stage The 25-year-old urged fans to be there for struggling LGBTQ+ youth and claimed, “If there is someone you think is vulnerable, please don't wait for them to reach out. Let’s wrap our arms around the young people in this community”.

Despite touching on a rather serious and gut wrenching topic, the singer concluded her speech with a hopeful message and even made fans giggle when she admitted, "Now I don't know about you but when we're allowed to I can't wait to get out there on the dance floor with you all."

For the unversed, this award at the 2020 Attitude Awards was a virtual occasion and was shot in six days at Camden Roundhouse in London.
