Taylor Swift, who has been winning over the hearts of fans with her great vocals, won the most awards at the 2023 MTV VMAs. 

The 2023 MTV Video Music Awards gathered the stars under one roof at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ on Tuesday, Sept. 12.

The Anti-Hero singer took seven coveted moon trophies home, alongside two technical awards.

The full list of winners shared by MTV revealed that Swift Eras Tour was voted Show of the Summer and her video for Anti-Hero received 2 technical awards: one for the Best Cinematography and another for Best Visual Effects, although these were not presented during the televised event.

The singer,33, addressed the crowd after receiving the award for Best Pop for Anti-Hero, "I love making pop music, I love making pop music videos, I also love making country.

"I love slinking around different genres and the only reason I'm allowed to do that is because you, the fans, gave me the opportunity to do this."

She further added, "One big adventure and it's all so much to challenge myself to make music that's different than what I made last and I just love you for it. But I really love making pop music, so thank you so, so, so much."

With the total toll of 11 nominations throughout the extravaganza night, Taylor stays ahead from the other celebrities. 

Other artists competing at the last night's event were SZA, who got 8 nominations, while Black Pink, Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj and Olivia Rodrigo got 6 nominations each.
