The beloved minions are back on the big screen after two years with Minions & Monsters and this time they are ready to wreak havoc on the Hollywood industry.
In the trailer that debuted on February 8, during the Super Bowl and it marked a stark difference from all the previous films in the franchise since it included all-new characters.
As per the description, the upcoming "rambunctious, ridiculous and totally true story of how the Minions conquered Hollywood, became movie stars..."
It continues, "lost everything, unleashed monsters onto the world and then banded together to try and save the planet from the mayhem they had just created."
Meanwhile the tagline insists that Hollywood has a monster problem, which are new creatures that have been introduced in the Despicable Me world.
The cuddly critters will be showing off their ability to create a film, as they write the script and put theor own spin on the monster movie genre.
Minions & Monsters will be produced by Illumination founder and CEO Chris Meledandri and Bill Ryan, and written by the Minions writer Brian Lynch, and directed by Pierre Coffin.
