Prince Andrew faces another hit that will cause him more problems.

The former duke, who renounced his royal titles, has been quietly hit with a massive blow.

On Wednesday, the ceremonial banner bearing Andrew’s heraldic insignia has been removed from its position.

The banner was previously within St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle in London.

The flag had been hanging beside Prince William’s since 2006.

The removal of the banner reflects how deep in trouble Andrew is in as such move is exceptionally rare.

Historically, such removals have only happened in cases of high treason or when a member has taken up arms against the monarchy.

The situation has unrolled after Andrew voluntarily renounced his royal titles on October 17 following multiple scandals.

The decision was made after a discussion with King Charles as Andrew acknowledged the scandals surrounding him had been taking focus away from the royal family.

This comes ahead of the launch of Andrew’s accuser, Virginia Giuffre’s posthumous autobiography.

Virginia described being trafficked to the Duke of York, at least three times and in her memoir she recounts the incidents in her words.

Along with Andrew, his former wife Sarah Ferguson is also in deep trouble after her emails to convicted felon Jeffrey Epstein surfaced online.
