If Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ever decided to make a permanent move back to the UK, insiders say the couple would likely set their sights on the Cotswolds.
The picturesque region, known for its rolling hills and celebrity residents, has become a favourite among the rich and famous, including Ellen DeGeneres, James Corden, and even Beyoncé.
A royal insider told the Daily Mail: “I’d say the Cotswolds would be somewhere they might look if they were thinking about a home outside the royal estate.”
The source added that Meghan would likely feel more at ease “living among celebrities” rather than returning to royal life on palace grounds.
Ellen DeGeneres, who once lived near the Sussexes in Montecito, recently revealed she moved to England shortly after Donald Trump’s re-election, only adding to the star power of the area.
However, security remains a key issue for Harry.
According to reports, the Duke might prefer staying within royal residences for better protection, following his lost legal battle earlier this year over UK police security.
