Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced a powerful new partnership through their Archewell Foundation, expanding their mission to make the digital world safer for children.
In a new statement, the couple confirmed that The Parents’ Network, a program under Archewell, is joining forces with ParentsTogether, a leading US nonprofit that advocates for families and online safety.
The announcement follows their appearance at the Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Gala in New York on October 9, where they were honoured as Humanitarians of the Year.
Speaking at the event, Prince Harry warned about “the explosion of unregulated artificial intelligence.”
“We’ve seen the full scope of what we’re facing, families everywhere discovering that social media has taken their child. We knew this movement needed to grow.”
The collaboration comes as new research from ParentsTogether reveals that AI chatbot platforms pose serious risks to children, with harmful interactions occurring “every five minutes.”
