Meghan Markle urged to return to UK to prove she's 'not afraid' of royal family

After turning heads at Paris Fashion Week, Meghan Markle is now being urged to make a bold return to London, and prove she’s “not afraid” of stepping back onto British soil.

The Duchess of Sussex, 44, made global headlines last weekend when she appeared front row at Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2026 show in Paris, marking her first trip to Europe since 2023.

Now, a leading culture and branding expert says Meghan should take her next fashion power move to the UK.

“Meghan’s attendance would generate a media storm in the best way,” Nick Ede told Express.co.uk.

“She’s already proven at Paris Fashion Week that she can command global attention, and a London appearance would show she’s not afraid to re-engage with the UK.”

Ede added that Meghan’s presence at London Fashion Week 2026 would be a dream for designers, thanks to what he calls The Meghan Effect.

“Whenever she wears something, it sells out,” he said.

“If she showed up in London, every designer would want her on the front row, and every brand she touches would be catapulted into the spotlight.”
