Meghan Markle made a startling comment about the protection of her kids.
The Duchess of Sussex married Prince Harry in 2018 and welcomed their first child, Prince Archie in 2019 followed by the birth of their daughter Lilibet in 2021.
The couple moved to US in 2020 after stepping down from royal duties and since have stayed in California raising their kids privately.
On October 9, the couple made an appearance at Project Healthy Minds' World Mental Health Day Gala in New York City.
At the event, where the two were awarded the Project Healthy Minds’ Humanitarians of the Year Award, they opened up about raising kids.
Speaking of social media and how it influences young children, Meghan said “Luckily, they’re still too young for social media, but we know that day is coming.”
Meghan expressed her worries as a parent saying, “Like so many parents, we think constantly about how to embrace technology’s benefits while safeguarding against its dangers. And that hopeful intention of separation is rapidly becoming impossible.”
The couple has maintained the privacy of their children but they still strive to protect their children from media’s influence and toxicity of social media platforms.
