Princess Beatrice made a surprise transatlantic appearance over the weekend, and brought a touch of royal sparkle to Long Island.
The 37-year-old royal attended the wedding of her longtime friend James Green, who tied the knot with James Hirschfeld, co-founder of Paperless Post, in an elegant ceremony on Saturday, October 4.
Guests shared glimpses from the star-studded celebration, where Beatrice looked radiant in a shimmering black gown, smiling alongside the newlyweds under a lavish white tent decked out with flowers, candles, and lanterns.
Beatrice and Green’s friendship stretches back more than two decades as the pair were first photographed together at London’s Stella Artois tennis championship in 2004, when Beatrice was 16 and Green 17.
The princess’s trip to New York comes just weeks after celebrating her 37th birthday in August.
