Lady Louise expected to help Prince William ease pressure on monarchy

Prince William is reportedly facing a looming “royal crisis” as the number of working royals continues to shrink, and one unexpected name is emerging as his potential saving grace.

According to royal commentator Christopher Wilson, the Prince of Wales is “running out of royals” to support him with official engagements as senior figures age and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle remain out of the fold.

Wilson suggests that Lady Louise Windsor, 21, the daughter of Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, could play a pivotal role in helping William ease the pressure on the monarchy.

“Lady Louise charms all who meet her and could be a decorative and useful asset to the royal team,” Wilson wrote in the Daily Mail. 

“But her mother Sophie, vastly protective of her daughter, is just as likely to want her to stay out of the spotlight.”

While Louise has impressed royal watchers with her poise at events such as Queen Elizabeth II’s state funeral, her parents have raised her and her brother James, Earl of Wessex, 17, largely away from the public eye.
