Prince Andrew has reportedly suffered a fresh blow from his brother, King Charles, after being left out of the royal photo displays at Hillsborough Castle, the monarch’s official residence in Northern Ireland.
Newly released images of the residence show framed photographs of several senior royals, including Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, but none of the disgraced Duke of York.
The absence has been described by royal insiders as a “major snub” and a clear sign of Andrew’s continuing fall from grace.
According to The Mirror, the State Drawing Room prominently features multiple photos of the Sussexes, including their engagement portrait, a family photo from Charles’s 70th birthday, and another image of Prince Harry displayed beside Prince William.
However, not a single photograph of Prince Andrew appears anywhere in the castle.
A royal source told the outlet: “Royal Historic Palaces make decisions on what’s appropriate, but they are guided by members of The Royal Family. Ultimately, the final say rests with the King.”
