Prince Andrew may have been sidelined from major royal gatherings, but King Charles is still allowing him to keep a key role in private royal traditions, according to fresh reports.
Sources claim the King, 76, is keen to keep Andrew out of the public eye but continues to make room for him in more private family settings.
This includes Andrew’s long-standing “family day” event at Windsor, which typically takes place after the start of pheasant season each November.
Despite being uninvited from this year’s Sandringham Christmas celebrations alongside ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, Andrew reportedly remains in charge of organizing these gatherings.
Royal expert Andrew Lownie told The Royalist: “King Charles does not want to antagonize his younger brother entirely, but he must also recognize the public want answers about the Yorks’ ties to Epstein and their financial dealings.”
