How Prince Harry 'sabotaged' his chances of reconciling with King Charles

A royal commentator has claimed that Prince Harry is sabotaging his own chances of reconciling with King Charles, not palace aides.

The Duke of Sussex sparked controversy earlier this month after accusing the so-called “men in grey suits” at Buckingham Palace of trying to undermine his reunion with his father. 

Reports claimed the meeting was “formal” and left Harry feeling like an “official visitor,” the Duke’s team fired back, insisting such claims were “categorically false” and designed to derail reconciliation.

Now, commentator Amanda Platell argues the real obstacle lies in Harry’s “self-perceived victimhood,” a trait she says he inherited from his late mother, Princess Diana. 

Platell suggested Diana had “good reason” to feel paranoid, but Harry has turned it into a “toxic narrative” monetised through his memoir Spare.

Calling Diana a “master media manipulator” and Harry a “clumsy amateur,” Platell warned that his paranoia risks pushing him further away from his family.
