Prince Harry breaks silence on meeting with King Charles

Prince Harry has finally responded to reports of him meeting his father King Charles.

The Duke of Sussex was recently in September when he was reported to have met the British monarch in a private meeting.

Many saw the meeting as a first step towards reconciliation between the duo who had not met in more than a year.

At the same time, he is being criticised for “tone-deaf PR move”.

Now, the Duke has responded to the reports calling people out for making speculations.

A spokesperson for the prince said “Recent reporting of The Duke's view of the tone of the meeting is categorically false.”

He further added that “The quotes attributed to him are pure invention fed, one can only assume, by sources intent on sabotaging any reconciliation between father and son.”

The person confirmed the rumours about exchange of gifts between the king and prince. He said, “we can confirm that a framed photograph was handed over, however the image did not contain the Duke and Duchess.”

The prince also met the Duke of Kent at Kensington Palace, to pay his condolences after the death of his wife Katharine, the Duchess of Kent.
