Serena Williams gushes over Meghan Markle’s As Ever gift

Serena Williams couldn’t hide her excitement after receiving a special delivery from Meghan Markle’s lifestyle brand, As Ever. 

The tennis legend, 42, shared an Instagram Story unboxing three bottles of Meghan’s 2024 red wine release, calling it a treat from her longtime friend.

“Thank you, yes, I can’t wait,” Serena said as she revealed the bottles, joking, “It’s 12 o’clock somewhere!” 

Serena has been one of Meghan’s biggest supporters. 

Earlier this year, she promoted her friend’s Netflix show, writing: “I’m so excited for you to check out With Love, Meghan! It’s a fun and inspiring series that shows how easy it is to bring beauty into everyday life.”

The pair first met in 2010 but became close friends in 2014. 

Meghan even blogged about Serena on her now-closed site The Tig, recalling how she was starstruck when the tennis icon “barrelled” toward her at an event.

Their friendship has remained strong through Meghan’s transition from actress to royal and now entrepreneur, proving Serena is firmly part of the Sussex inner circle.
