Buckingham Palace issued a major update about an important cancer campaign amid King Charles' treatment.

On September 26, the monarch's team reshared Macmillan Cancer Support's new post in which they are celebrating the efforts made by them for the past 35 years to raise funds for cancer patients across the UK.

For the unversed, Macmillan Coffee Morning is an annual meaningful fundraising event operated by Macmillan Cancer Support in which people from different areas of the UK host and attend Coffee Mornings in order to extend financial aid to cancer patients.

The caption on the official post reads, "Happy Coffee Morning! Today marks 35 years of the Macmillan Coffee Morning, and we can’t thank you enough for supporting it year after year."

"Whether you’ve been baking, decorating your showstopper or grabbing a readymade from the shop, we hope you have a brilliant day celebrating."

King Charles' spokesperson also promoted the campaign by wishing people good luck who are participating in a poignant event.

Royal family's message reads, "Celebrating 35 years of @macmillancancer Coffee Mornings. Good luck to everyone hosting an event today."

For the unversed, Buckingham Palace left the world in shock by announcing King Charles' cancer in February 2024. The monarch is currently undergoing cancer treatment and also performing his royal duties.
