Prince William makes rare admission about King Charles, Kate’s cancer

The British royal family was hit with major heartbreak when King Charles and Kate Middleton were diagnosed with cancer.

Prince William has now opened up about the difficult time in a rare interview where he let out his vulnerable side.

In February 2024, Buckingham Palace announced that Charles had been diagnosed with cancer.

Later in March, the Princess of Wales revealed that she had cancer which she was getting chemotherapy for.

While Kate has completed her treatment and is in remission now, the monarch is still undergoing treatment.

Speaking on an upcoming episode of Apple TV+’s The Reluctant Traveller, William speaks to comedian Eugene Levy about how difficult 2024 was for him.

“I’d say 2024 was the hardest year I’ve ever had.”, said William.

He further talked about how they were tested saying, “life is sent to test us as well, and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are.”

The episode is set to drop on October 3, in which William invites the host of the show, Eugene.

In another clip, the Prince of Wales can be seen giving a tour of Windsor Castle to the comedian. He jokes about giving personalised tours everywhere.
