Rumours of a rift between King Charles and his eldest son, Prince William, have been firmly dismissed by royal insiders.
Reports recently suggested the father-son relationship had cooled, particularly after Charles held a private meeting with Prince Harry during his brief UK visit.
Adding fuel to speculation, royal biographer Tina Brown claimed that William’s hands-on parenting style could be seen as a subtle critique of his father’s approach.
But palace sources insist that father and son remain united.
One insider told the Daily Mail: “It’s evident there’s an attempt to manufacture division between them, when in reality, no such rift exists. Their relationship is as strong as ever… they’re aligned in their work and united in their vision for the Royal Family.”
While Charles and William don’t see each other daily, sources confirm they are in “absolute lockstep” on the monarchy’s future.
William, 43, is currently in Balmoral, spending time with his father, reinforcing what insiders call a “solid and unshakable bond.”
