Kate Middleton quietly paid tribute to Prince William last week through a powerful detail many may have missed, her rings.

At the late Duchess of Kent’s funeral, the Princess of Wales stacked five rings on her engagement finger, each carrying deep meaning and telling the story of her life with William.

At the centre was her iconic sapphire and diamond engagement ring, once worn by Princess Diana, a piece symbolising continuity and William’s enduring bond with his late mother. 

Alongside it, Kate wore her simple Welsh gold wedding band and her diamond eternity ring, gifted by William after Prince George’s birth, marking the beginning of their family.

More recently, she has added a second eternity band, a sapphire and diamond design William gave her after she completed chemotherapy last year, representing resilience and renewal.

Perhaps the most touching was her reappearance of a pearl and garnet promise ring from their university days at St Andrews. The ring features their birthstones and was first seen during their graduation.
