Prince Harry's second solo getaway without Meghan Markle raises eyebrows online

Prince Harry has been spotted for a second time this week enjoying a holiday without his wife, Meghan Markle, sparking fresh curiosity about the couple’s time apart.

The Duke of Sussex, 41, was seen on Wednesday taking part in the St. Regis World Snow Polo Championship in Aspen, Colorado, just hours after he was photographed skiing with close friend and polo star Nacho Figueras.

Harry is believed to have stepped in for a friend who was unable to compete, joining the Aspen Valley team for the high-profile snow polo event. The appearance marked a welcome return to the sport he has played passionately for many years.

The polo match followed an earlier sighting of Harry on the slopes, where he spent several hours skiing with Nacho Figueras and a group of male friends.

A source told HELLO! magazine: “Prince Harry was with Nacho for about four hours on the mountains. The pair spent the day skiing and enjoyed lunch together at one of the restaurants at the resort. Harry seemed happy and was also joined by a number of male friends on the slopes.”

While Harry enjoyed his time in Colorado, Meghan Markle did not accompany him on the trip. Instead, the Duchess of Sussex remained at the couple’s Montecito home in California with their two children, Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four.

Despite her absence, Meghan appeared to publicly show her support for her husband. She took to her Instagram Story overnight, sharing and gushing over a photograph of Harry on the polo pitch.

The prince’s second solo appearance on holiday has naturally drawn attention, particularly as the Sussexes usually travel together or are photographed as a pair.

While there is no suggestion of trouble, the solo getaway comes amid a period of intense public scrutiny for the couple.
