Sarah Ferguson 'going through hell', says friend amid Epstein fallout

Sarah Ferguson is said to be “devastated” and “in a terrible way” following the explosive fallout from her resurfaced email to Jeffrey Epstein.

The 65-year-old has been dropped by at least seven charities, including Teenage Cancer Trust, after it emerged she once described the disgraced financier as her “supreme friend” in a 2011 message. 

The revelation has sparked outrage and left Fergie battling yet another royal crisis.

Appearing on The Jeremy Vine Show, TV personality Lizzie Cundy, a close friend of the duchess, said Sarah is “going through hell.” 

Cundy revealed: “This is a shock, but he was so aggressive, so unpleasant. If you thought your family could get hurt, what would you do? Sarah is absolutely devastated about losing the charities."

"Especially the cancer one, given her own diagnosis. She’s a human being, a mother, she’s going through hell.”

The charities to sever ties include Julia’s House, Prevent Breast Cancer, the British Heart Foundation and the Children’s Literacy Charity.

A spokesperson for Sarah has since insisted she only wrote the email under threat, claiming Epstein’s legal team pressured her into sending the message.
