Sarah Ferguson is now heavily tipped to be stripped of her Duchess of York title following a growing fallout from her resurfaced ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
According to betting platform Pundit Arena, the odds of Fergie losing her royal credentials stand at 1/3, while she’s priced at 9/4 to retain them.
Joe Lyons, a spokesperson for the site, said: “At 1/3, Ferguson is firmly odds-on to lose her credentials. While nothing official has been confirmed by the Palace, the Duchess looks unlikely to keep her royal titles.”
The controversy erupted after The Mail on Sunday and The Sun published a 2011 email Ferguson allegedly sent to Epstein.
In it, she described him as a “steadfast, generous and supreme friend”, contradicting her public vow weeks earlier that she would “never have anything to do with him again.”
The fallout has been swift. At least seven charities, including The Teenage Cancer Trust, The British Heart Foundation, and the Children’s Literacy Charity, have cut ties with the Duchess.
Ferguson’s spokesperson insists the email was sent after Epstein threatened her in a “menacing” phone call.
