Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are set to make their next big appearance in New York City, and it comes with a prestigious honour.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will be recognized as Humanitarians of the Year at Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Gala on October 9.
The award celebrates Harry, 40, and Meghan, 44, for their work in mental health advocacy and their mission to make the online world safer for children and families.
Through their Archewell Foundation, launched in 2020, the couple has spearheaded global initiatives, including the Parent’s Network, which supports families impacted by online harm.
“As parents ourselves, working with families and young people has been some of the most meaningful work of our lives,” the couple shared in a statement, emphasizing that Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, inspire much of their work.
The Sussexes will also attend Project Healthy Minds’ World Mental Health Day Festival on October 10, where Archewell will co-host conversations with leading voices in wellness, including Deepak Chopra, Katie Couric, and Jonathan Haidt.
