Prince Harry has landed in trouble once again as he has been receiving backlash after his recent move.
The Duke of Sussex made a surprise visit to the Burma Star Memorial on VJ Day which is being criticised by royal insiders.
At the memorial, Harry laid a wreath and handwritten note to the army and also paid tribute to his late grandfather Prince Philip.
As per RadarOnline, the royal insiders believe the timing of the appearance felt like a calculated move.
“Harry's move was no accident”, the source reported, “arriving after the King had gone made it seem respectful on the surface – but the timing, the note, and the perfectly staged photos made it obvious it was a PR play.”
The visit was made by the Duke shortly after the official 80th anniversary ceremony was led by King Charles and Queen Camilla, which Harry did not attend.
“People in the palace were livid. It was meant to be the King's moment of remembrance, yet Harry managed to turn the spotlight back on himself.”
An insider told the outlet that Harry’s appearance “caught everyone off guard” in the palace.
