Prince William moved to tears after he sat down for a meaningful conversation with a family member of a suicide victim.

On October 10, the future King's team released an emotional video on the Waleses' official Instagram page, highlighting the importance of talking to loved ones to prevent suicide.

William talked to Rhian Manning, whose husband Paul took his own life in 2012 after the death of their one-year-old son.

To mark World Mental Health Day, the Prince of Wales, who was visibly in tears after hearing Rhian's heartbreaking story, urged people to seek help during dark times.

In response to the brave woman's life story, William said, "The best way to prevent suicide is to talk about it. Talk about it early, talk about it with your loved ones, those you trust, your friends. So thank you for talking about it."

Notably, Kensington Palace also announced that The Royal Foundation, a project led by the Prince and Princess of Wales, launched a new initiative, the National Suicide Prevention Network, aiming to unite across the UK to transform suicide prevention.

They have also donated around $1.3 million (£1 million) for the initial three-year plan to help establish the National Suicide Prevention Network.

It is pertinent to note that Prince William's teary video emerged on social media after his rare outing with King Charles at the Natural History Museum.
