Meghan Markle’s ‘hidden signal’ to Prince Harry proves who’s really in charge

Meghan Markle may have been the real power player at the Project Healthy Minds Gala in New York this week, at least according to a body-language expert.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex walked the red carpet hand-in-hand as they accepted the Humanitarians of the Year Award for their work on mental-health and online-safety advocacy.

Body-language expert Judi James told The Mirror that Meghan subtly took charge of the moment.

“Their hand clasp is relaxed rather than tight and although it’s Harry adopting the more alpha stance, it was Meghan throwing the glances to signal when to move onto the next spot for the cameras,” James explained.

She added that the Duchess “guided the flow of the red carpet,” describing her cues as a “hidden signal” that made her the quiet alpha of the night.

“It’s her raised and rounded cheeks that form this look of pride and a sense of self-satisfaction here as she looks up at Harry,” James noted.
