Bad Bunny, who has taken the global music scene by storm, proved he’s just like the rest of us, completely obsessed with KPop Demon Hunters.

The 31-year-old rapper took the stage for the Saturday Night Live season premiere, getting delightfully geeky in a sketch devoted to the hit musical fantasy.

Bad Bunny takes on the role of Thomas, a socially awkward fan who is completely smitten with the fictional girl group Huntr/x.

While his friends laugh at his obsession, he claims the blockbuster is “based on a true story,” and things quickly spiral out of control.

Suddenly, the singing stars of Huntr/x, Ejae, Rei Ami, and Audrey Nuna, appear, bringing Thomas’s daydream to life.

“If only there were three gorgeous Korean girls who could protect you,” he sighs, before the trio bursts onto the set performing their hit track Golden.

The scene reaches peak chaos when the film’s villain Jinu, played by Bowen Yang, shows up, only to be spectacularly thwarted by K-pop musical group.

Notably, the sketch coincides with the movie’s Netflix domination.

After debuting in late August, KPop Demon Hunters became the streaming platform’s most popular film ever and held its spot in the English-language Top 10 for an astonishing 15 consecutive weeks.

Fans of the soundtrack have more to look forward to: Ejae, Nuna, and Rei Ami will perform Golden live for the first time on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on October 7, and they’ll also sit down for a chat with Fallon.
